HOW TO FUND YOUR STUDY ABROAD?
Hit up your rich uncle Bert. Start selling plasma. Have a yard sale, a bake sale, a fundraising banquet. Busk in the streets during the holiday season. Stop eating out. Downgrade your everything. Ask your roommate for a dollar...three thousand times.
Also, all available methods for funding traditional studies can be used for study abroad. That means federal grants, student loans, and scholarships can all be used toward study abroad. Visit WSU's Financial Aid office:(801-626-7569) ask for Janet Nelson. Only she can give you the details on your particular case.
You can pay with a credit card.
Are you currently participating in the Honors Program? Talk to Marilyn about a pretty exciting funding opportunity!

PAYMENTS
In order to register you'll need to make a $500 nonrefundable deposit. If you intend to fund your trip through loans or grants, instead of paying the deposit in cash, obtain a letter from Janet Nelson at the Financial Aid office that officially states your situation and you'll be able to register with that instead. Any issues or questions? call Pam at Study Abroad (801-626-6600) and chat about your situation.
